Jean de Metz

Jean de METZ alias Mès. - Lord of Nouillonpont or Novelenpont, maybe anoblished in 1448, Jean de Metz was an important figure in the Joan of Arc's history. One of Robert de Baudricourt's companions, he accompanied the Maid to Chinon, and in the continuation of the epic. We now a very few informations about this man born circa 1398. Witness in the trial of revision, he said, on 31st January 1456, that he was about 57 years old.

Bertrand de Poulengy

Bertrand de POULENGY or Polongy, nicknamed Pollichon. - Lord of Gondrecourt, Bertrand de Poulengy was born circa 1392, perhaps in Champagne. He was the son of Jean de Poulengy anoblished in 1425. One of Robert de Baudricourt's companions, he accompanied Joan of Arc to Chinon, and in the continuation of the epic. We now a very few informations about this man. Witness in the trial of revision, he said, on 6th February 1456, that he was about 63 years old and he was squire of the King.
