Full name : Nicole alias Nicolas de GIRESME.

Mort : after 1466.

Official and military functions : Knight of Rhodes' Order, commander of La Croix-en-Brie for the Order, captain for the King of Yèvre-le-Châtel, Captain of Melun (1430), Provins (1436), Grand prior of France of Rhodes' Order (1447).

Descendants : Regnault de Giresme, legitimate in 1451.

Shield-of-arms : Argent, a recercely cross Sable.

On the seal, the shield of arms is surmonted by an Order's Cross.

Presence at the side of Joan of Arc in  : Orléans, Jargeau, Meung, Beaugency, Patay, Compiègne.

Comments : Nicole or Nicolas de Giresme, was a Knight of Rhodes's Order (military and hospitable Order of St John of Jerusalem), commander of the Croix-en-Brie for this Order, captain of Yèvre-le-Châtel (remained a French enclave in English territory) for the King.

Seized Pithiviers at the beginning of May 1427. He goes to Orleans in September 1428. Wounded on October 21. Captain of Melun in 1430, of Provins in 1436. Grand prior of France of the Rhodes's Order in 1447. He had a natural son, Regnault de Giresme, legitimised in 1451.
